Mexico Yucatán Experience

Prepare for paradise as we set off to the car-free island of Holbox to spend the afternoon relaxing on the pristine beaches. Home to tropical marine life, enjoy swimming in the sea, chill out in beach bars with live music and simply enjoy the start of your Mexican experience!

Today we’ll jump on a private boat to explore 3 beautiful locations; bird island, “eye of the water” known as a cenote (freshwater pool), and Passion island full of flocks of pink flamingos that like to chill here! After we’ll hop back on the boat to catch sunset. If we are lucky we might get to see the bioluminescence in the ocean after dark.

An early start today as we leave for the ancient Mayan site of Chichen Itza. We’ll learn about the fascinating history, before heading to Cenote Ik Kil for a dip in the amazing natural limestone swimming pools. This evening we’ll head on an orientation walk around the Merida city to explore the spectacular sites.

Time to head outside of Merida to experience 3 amazing cenotes by cycling between each one, lunch included. This evening we’ll check out the food court in Merida to try the delicious tacos, have a tequila and mezcal tasting session & test our salsa dancing skills!

We’ll set off this morning to travel to Bacalar & arrive early afternoon. Spend the afternoon chilling out or take a kayak/paddleboard at the lagoon if you fancy. In the evening we’ll find a spot by the lagoon to watch the sun go down with some cold beers. Perfect end to the day!

Today we jump on a boat to check out the magnificent 7 colour lagoon. We’ll stop at several places along the way to cool off in the freshwater, get your insta worthy shots and a stop for a spot of lunch on us.

Get ready to set off to the trendy beachside town of Tulum. We’ll spend the afternoon exploring the town, or simply relax on the white sandy beaches before heading out into town for tonights dinner and drinks with the group.

This morning we head to Tulum archaeological site to explore the ancient Mayan ruins. After we head down to the beach to take a refreshing dip and enjoy a cocktail (or two) at one of the quirky beach lounges.

Today we take a short ride up the coast to Playa Del Carmen; a popular resort town on the beach. Do some shopping or top up your tan before we head out in the evening for our farewell dinner in this lively, exciting town.

Adiós amigos as it’s time to say your goodbyes today! Whether you are heading home or heading on another one of our trips, your group leader will be there to help you with your onward travel.
